Sep 5 -Deadline for Engineering admissions, orders AICTE

The Union body of technical education has sent circular ordering all technical institutions including top deemed universities and affiliated engineering colleges to kickstart and complete the first round of admission process for the academic year 2021-2022 by August 31.

Further the circular reads that the second round of counselling for the allotment of seats has to be completed by September 9, following that the classes for the students should start from 15 September.

This announcement from AICTE came as a surprise as the state governments across India including Tamilnadu have postponed class 12 exams, last month. Since then, no announcement has been made by respective boards and government of Indian states on board exams, admission processes at many colleges and universities were put on halt for the coming batch.

Also, AICTE has declared June 30  as the deadline to admit students in open and distance learning courses and fully online programmes. Considering the COVID-19 second wave, AICTE said this academic calendar is subject to further changes based on health ministry guidelines.

But now, as the announcement came from a statutory board of technical education, admission processes at top universities are set to commence. Let’s gear up and get admission at top notch colleges and universities in tamilnadu. For admissions at top universities in tamilnadu, contact +91 99621 43721.
